Ridgerunner Forestry, LLC is equipped to assist landowners with the physical aspect of improving wildlife habitat on their lands. The examples pictured here are from a client's tract in Montgomery County, Virginia. The property was purchased several years after a timber harvest occurred, and was in need of care. The landowner asked us to facilitate some road improvements, and to install food plots to improve the habitat for deer and turkey. After first preparing a Forest Stewardship Plan , we went to work spreading seed, fertilizer, and hay. These areas were planted with a mixture of orchardgrass, Timothy, buckwheat, clover, and rye. We are looking forward to hearing this year's hunting report.
